Hurray for colabs!
 This is a drawing by =renonevada which he ever so kindly allowed me to color. I had so much fun with this, I completely lost track of time while working on it. There's nothing quite like coloring some very well done lineart... it's just so much fun. I usually like to work in blues, but every now and again I try to use the warmer end of the color wheel... and this gave me just such an excuse. I love how rich and warm it feels. For some reason, she looks sad. I'm not sure why... I don't think she looks so sad in Reno's original: [link] Anyway, hope you all enjoy it, was wonderfuly fun for me. Those wings are gorgeous. It seems like I could reach right in there and touch them. The blush in her skin (on her shoulders, face, the bottoms of her feet) is a nice touch. It gives her a glow. She does look a little sad. I can't seem to place why though. Her hair is perfect!
I think my favorite part of this is the background. I really love the faded and aged look of it. Did you use your own brushes for that? I still haven't figured out how to get the "paper-bag" faded look yet.
You guys make a great team.
