YES! I finally finished this! I spent the better part of the day on this, working on it on and off. I have a new respect for tattoo artists.... MERF. I did this differently than I usually approach my vectors... instead of doing a base shape of skintone and hair, I started with the lowlights of the skin, the highlights of the hair, and worked down. I like the result. This is a gift for a very dear friend of mine, not on dA. He loves HIM, and uses the lead singer's face for an RP he's involved in. He just bought me a paid subscription to Live Journal, and did so utterly out of the blue. (And no, don't ask me my LJ SN, if you know it if you're supposed to.  ) Beyond that he's listened to me bitch and moan about my life and always made me feel better. Plus who else has been walking across England and been picked up by a drag queen?So this is for you, Jay-person, I hope you like!  Done 100% in Illustrator. Edit: Sorry, had to edit it and reduce the size, and make some more obvious watermarks to keep people from stealing it.  Hands off, people! |
