A very long overdue gift for +y2jenn. Jenn's incredible and has been just an awesome friend to me and has done me so much delecious gift/fanart and I just love her for it. Thanks to her for letting me borrow her girl--she's a pretty good muse when she wants to be!

I really did have fun with this... though I don't quite think she looks like Kidd. ^^; She's alittle to Oriental looking and too.. I dunno. Delicate? But meh. Jenn wanted something in my style so this is what she gets! She looks like she's trying to seduce some poor, unsuspecting man. Leave it to me to turn her girl into a hussy. :XD:

Sketched in pencil then lightboxed onto Bristol and inked with loose ink and nibs. The outline wasn't supposed to be QUITE so thick, but had a small incident with my being an idiot and forgetting to always use a raised surface when stenceling with loose ink. ^^; But it's okay, it added some drama to the pic. Though now it'll be an absolute pain to color, as the shadows are now going in every which directon. :doh:

Kidd belongs to +y2jenn, who utterly rocks and should be given some love. :nod::heart:

This is very interesting. Eventhough it's not supposed to be remotely close to this, it looks like she may have something on her mind. All in all it's a very good image. Not too much detail, but just enough. I gotta give you mad props and go check out yer friends gallery now too :)

There's my girl! Kidd was badly in need of some love. I'm glad it was you to give it to her. She's a little mad at me right now.
This came out so pretty and delicate. Which is a good thing. Above being a warrior and a bar owner, she's still a girl. She needs to just be soft and pretty once in a while. The hard outline border is fantastic actually. I balances the picture out and suits her character. I like how bold it is against how soft she is.

I gotta agree with those who said it doesn't need color. Black and white looks fantastic as it is.
That expression is a hoot. I wonder who it is she's flappin those eyelashes at. :giggle:
