I like both the colors and the blur. I think it's interesting how the foreground color is saturated and the background isn't, I like that, even if that gives it "double" (or triple?) contrast. The composition is nice, ordinary yet not ordinary. I think the depth of field works very well. It's interesting how the background doesn't clash with the subject, despite the detail.
The only real problem here is the overexposure on the sky - something that happens very often with digital cameras, but it looks nasty as it "eats" the edges of the trees.
I have to say I love the colors and the contrast that there is here between the yellow green of the background and the light purple of the foreground, although the contrast could have been provided by the blurr, which i think was a little overdosed and also was mixed a little with the flowers. What I mean is that, some parts of the flowers are blurred. They make the eyes dull. I suggest macro, I was just wodnering what would happen if you concentrated more on the buds, then the whole bush.Or maybe positioning it more to the side so we could have a better view of the whole area. There's a part of a branch which invades the corner of the picture, you could get that out by choosing another angle and hiding the branch with the flower or there's always cropping. though I still think that because of the color of the flowers a macro would be fabulous.
