Wow painting felt good today. I'm not quite sure why, but it felt so good to work on this. ...and I spent, literally, hours on it. 
I wish the scan turned out better, there's a lot of subtle teal-green in it, and the yellow dots are nearly impossible to see in the original. My scanner decided that the yellow was very important, apparently.

You know, I could sit and stare that this picture for hours on end. It's such a pleasing drawing, like watching waves of water, yet it's not a serene pic. The brightness and the swirls almost scream movement to the point where you could swear it IS churning about.
I think I'll go stare at it some more ^-^
