"Fall Fire" Art Exhibition Will Show Several Artists' Works at Stephanie Ward Gallery, October 15, 7-11 PM.

Skydolon Studios will be hosting an art exhibition event at the Stephanie Ward Gallery, 2526 Elm Street, in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas, on the 15th of October. The Saturday evening event will show the work of several artists working in a variety of media. A percentage of proceeds from art sales will benefit Scottish Rite Children's Hospital and hurricane disaster relief.

Several artists have been invited to participate, and media will include drawings, paintings, sculpture, digital-art, photography, and art in combined media, in a variety of styles.

The original goal of the exhibition was showcasing student work, but a number of professional artists have agreed to participate in this fundraising event as well.  Several photographic prints by Roger Moore will be featured, including six numbered, signed prints from his Chihuahua Desert photography series, as well as some of his larger photographic prints. Local area artist Loretta LaMothe will be showing several of her new oil landscapes. There will be a cover charge of $4 to enter the gallery where there will be food and beverages served, music playing and prints of the art on display for sale.

North Texas artists who are interested in having their art displayed at this event are invited to the Art Call this Saturday the 24th from 1 to 4 PM at the Standard and Poore's Cafe in the building called "South Side on Lamar," located south of the convention center just south of Downtown Dallas. Please bring any framed work you would like to hang in the showing.

That sounds awesome! Unfortunately I live too far away to submit my work. -____- But that's ok! Good luck to all the artists who are getting involved!

I live about an hour from Dallas. They said something about student work? I'm an art student but I'm not sure how to enter this thing.
